Giving Hands ... active in Israel

The Giving Hands Foundation supports the Calvary Chapel communities in Tel Aviv and Haifa and organizes and supports practical help to the needy through those congregations.
We want to bless the people of Israel like God teaches us in the Bible. By helping to build and establish those  congregations and taking care of the less fortunate we want to show Gods love. Our hope and expectation for the people of Israel is that they may know the real peace that can only come from God.

Calvary Chapel in Israel has the following three principles:

- Feed the sheep: the members of the congregation are being fed by the word of God in weekly gatherings (Acts 20:28)
- Telling the Good News: the congregation also wants to spread the Gospel to others that do not know Jesus (Yeshua in Hebrew) yet. So they also may experience the peace of God in their lives (Matthew 28:19, 20)
- Look after the poor: the congregation is organizing or will organize social projects and maintain them. This offers practical help and assistance to the less fortunate that otherwise would not be able to look after themselves. We pray that through our help they may experience Gods nearness and love (Matthew 25:35-40)

God Bless you,
